From soaring over the Serengeti in six-seat planes to standing eye-to-eye with silverback gorillas, our journey through South Africa, Kenya, and Uganda was pure magic. We shared meals with locals, traveled with local drivers who became friends, and witnessed incredible resilience at a women’s cooperative where battered mothers created beautiful beadwork from Mt. Kenya clay and handcrafted leather goods—singing joyfully alongside their children. We delivered medical supplies to South Africa’s Nelson Mandela clinics and toured his home with Winnie, a moment that left us deeply humbled. Between luxury safari camps, breathtaking wildlife, including the Wildebeast Migration and fourteen unforgettable flights, this adventure stretched my courage and changed my heart forever.
